Custom Vintage Shure NIB Model 425 Commando

A Great Opportunity to Own a Near Mint Customized Shure 425 Commando!

This Shure 425 Commando is in Nearly Perfect Condition in its original box. the only changes that has been made is the removal of the original cable which I have replaced with a Switchcraft 1/4" Deep Panel Jack so that you can use your favorite cable and the addition of a Volume Control perfectly located below the bell shaped head.

The CM (Controlled Magnetic) Element in the 425 is a small Dual Impedance version of the original Shure Green Bullet CM element. This Microphone is wired up for Hi-Z (High Impedance) operation and the element measures 1724 Ohms on a DMM.

This is truly One Super Hot Harp Mic!

The overall length of the mic is 5 3/4" from the grille to the end of the Switchcraft jack and it is 1 3/4" in diameter at the top of the bell. The Bell shaped head makes the Shure Commando the Perfect Shaped microphone for Harmonica and it fits perfectly and feels comfortable in your hands.
