Vintage JT-30 with Hi-Z Shure 99G86 Black CR & VC

Fantastic Package Deal with Super Hot JT-30 and In-line Volume Control !!

As you can see in the pictures this Vintage Gray Hammertone JT-30 is in Excellent Cosmetic Condition for its age. The original glossy paint is in excellent condition with only a few light scratches and the Chrome Grille is as near to perfect as you can get and has been backed with Stainless 304 Wire Mesh and Red Silk.

The original wooden handle and Gray Hammertone base are also included and are both in good condition. The base is in the same excellent cosmetic condition that the mic is but some of the black paint has worn off the wooden handle.

The original crystal element was a DOA so I have replaced it with a Vintage Black Label Shure Controlled Reluctance Element (99G86) and Shure manufactured gasket in excellent condition. The element measure 1340 Ohms on a DMM and has a nice Strong Output and the Deep Gritty Tone that these great elements are famous for.

The condition of the shell is so good that I did not want to physically alter it in any way by drilling a hole for a volume control so I am also including an In-Line Volume Control with a 5/8" screw connector at the top so that you can connect it directly to the mic. At the bottom of the VC you will find a convenient 1/4" jack that allows you to plug your mic cable directly into it without an additional adapter. The VC has a 100 K-Ohm Potentiometer which is well matched to the Controlled Reluctance Element in this microphone.

This is the perfect combination for the really serious Harp Player!
